I'm not a zoom zoom but I only started playing pokemon games recently.
I was into the anime and the cards as a kid (only the indigo and johto parts, stopped after that) but now came back to it and decided to play the games.
And holy fuck how did people play these without the speed up.
I'm not even an impatient person but the amount of padding and how long everything takes is excruciating.
>click pick up item
>sound effect
>a pause...
>you got x item! *jingle*
>pause
>you put the item in the pocket
>pause
>music resumes and you can walk again
what the actual fuck
so when i was playing these games i always had the speed up button on the fucking ready to go
How did people deal with this back in the day?
And if they had such insane metal patience how did that generation grow up so fucking impatient?
And how the fuck was this a success with kids that have rampant sugar rush adhd out the ass and mentally check out if not stimulated for a second.
how did THEY fucking play these games?
i'm bewildered
