As for integrating into human culture, that's PARTIALLY what my ongoing writing has been about, though it's more of a backstory than a main focus. Basically, a native Gallade married a Gardevoir born to the first Ralts ambassadors to humans. They live together in a human society, the Gardevoir being the only member of her species raised in that kind of environment. It's a big adjustment for the Gallade.
They also definitely have romantic feelings beyond just ooga booga need to breed.
