Also, 3,4,5,6 can be done in any order but they have scaling based on how many badges you have, 6-8 Gym is all double battles.
3-6 Gym are all in one big city with 4 gyms, every gym is a gang leader in that big city, east, north, south and west side, each one takes inspiration from big US cities, New York, Miami, Californio/Portland, Houston. A massive area with a lot of sidequests and a lot different Pokemon to catch, like an abandoned antique shop with a lot of object mons and a special and only way to get Honedge in the bottom of the basement of said shop, a Traning Dojo like Saffron that runs by the Dad of the Gang Leader/Gym Leader of the fighting Gym.
Twin Brothers who have the Golem Forms, they specialize in Electric/Ground mons and come from that electric island between 6-7 gym.
You get access to Surf Dive Strength and Rock Smash after defeating this gym, you need all of those to reach Gym7.
