Thread for theories about the game I suppose. Also, am I the only one who’s noticed these three are all starters Ash hasn’t evolved fully?

I’m hoping we get either new evolutions for these three, or possibly battle bond forms of some kind. Also I love the idea of new “Past form” Pokemon

What are they going to do in the anime? Ash goes to Sinnoh in the current time or does he travel to the past? Or is it just flashbacks to this time period that just gets mentioned sometimes?

Maybe a Mega Evolution Specials type series with different characters?
Ash getting an episode where he travels to the past might be more likely though, especially with the Gen 4 remakes allowing the perfect excuse to squeeze in Dialga to do some time bullshit in the anime

Maybe it’ll be like charizard. Ash grabs a Pokemon from a previous journey to help with a fight, it evolves and he keeps it on the team. Like if any of them came back it’d be a good way to shill the new game while in the middle of the new anime

It will prove to be a garbage poorly optimized game and people will once again profess that they're never buying a Pokémon game again only for them to give GameFreak the benefit of the doubt once again when Gen 9 is revealed.
