>>46619703>BlueBefore the elite 4 the game was average because my team was shit but it feels like the AI was down during the E4. Didn't use my whole team.
>CrystalEasy until I got to the E4 which for whatever reason was like 10 levels higher than my team. I did a bit of grinding to be only like 5 levels below the E4. Then Red was like 30 levels higher than my team. I got tired of grinding and just relied on RNG to win.
>RSEWallace's tanky Milotic but that just took time. Steven gave me trouble in a recent run but it wasn't so bad. I have to hold back Swampert and Blaziken which are always too powerful.
>FRLGIt was my first game so I did struggle a bit with Lance and Blue. I'm better at it now so I can rape those dudes. Sleeping moves are always handy.
>Diamond, PlatinumInfernape is another Blaziken. Fire/Fighting is broken for single player. Empoleon was strong too. Nothing memorable, I didn't struggle.
>HGSSI don't remember the level difference like in Crystal. I wouldn't say I plowed through the end but it wasn't anywhere close to Crystal. Just a bit of grinding and you're set.
>WhiteNever struggled. I remember Krookodile was the MVP almost OP.
>White 2I found a Darmanitan that was just too powerful so I had to use it lightly. I don't know what is about fire types in these games being too powerful.
>YI had exp share off and I switched teams and I still felt overleveled. The hardest part of the game was to not overlevel my pokemon.
>Alpha SapphireSame as Y. Like before I had exp. share off and never used megas and my team was still too powerful.
>SunI just picked cool looking pokemon and ended up with a bunch of bugs and grass. Got raped by Guzma, Hala, and Kahili. Just a bad team.
>Ultra SunI built a slightly better team but lost to Hala at the beginning of the game(How?). I used toxic on Necrozma. Totems were a solid fight. The E4 was easier but still had me on my toes.
It depends on your team but gens 4, 5, 6 have game breaking powerful pokemon.
