Unironically worse. The problem with Tauros is that it lacks coverage options to abuse Sheer Force, raw power, no boosting moves to make up for it, mediocre STAB type. You'll need to remedy at least two of these to make it rise above whatever tier it's in currently, PU?

The problem with this is that you risk making anger point tauros completely busted in doubles. Please research how Tauros is actually used currently rather than presuming giving him 130 attack is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

OP's Tauros would be one of the fastest, hardest hitting Ground-types in the game. Hustle + STAB + EQ is probably how you get the most power out of Tauros meager Attack with the least drawback.

That's the case with every Sheer Force user, even Nidoking. A mon that can OHKO with Sheer Force STABs is Uber, like Lando-I.And what makes Lando-I so dangerous is Ground is such a powerful offensive type to get STAB on.

This is Durant, a Hustle user with a far superior defensive typing than vanilla Tauros, but an equally bad offensive typing. It's just a tier higher than Tauros is in SS OU. Its best offensive move is Superpower, which has the same damage output as STAB-boosted Iron Head and drops Attack after use. It is just one tier higher than vanilla Tauros.
Even with just 100 Attack, Hustle EQ and Close Combat + STAB on EQ is unironically more threatening than anything vanilla Tauros has today. And Ground offers more defensively with a SR resistance.

The best way to save Tauros without big changes is giving it a new stab compatible with Sheer Force, it already has good coverage but need something good to clean late game, Body Slam is weak and Rock Climb miss too often.
Sword Dance would also help, it fits him and it would become a pretty good wall breaker.

Having every move turn into Focus Blast is not a good thing. There is a reason why Dracozolt looks so incredibly good on paper until you realize how much of a blunder it actually is. This goes for every Hustle user, the only advantage Ant has above them is trying to make up for it with Hone Claws and praying you don't spontaneously combust next turn

Tauros was only good because of Gen I bugs and over sights like high speed crit, body slam immune paralyses and no fighting presence, no steels and the only rocks die to either earthquake or blizzard (Again, 90% acc and 30% to freeze in OG Rd and Green)

Most normal special mons don't have access to Boomburst.

Most physical normal mons lost Return so they are stuck with double Edge so they lost the choice to pick recoil or non-recoil STAB. Normal was supposed to be the "high BST and/or utility to make up for no coverage" but even for normal mons picking a STAB move is not exactly ideal or they don't have access to the normal utility moves. There are only 2 SD/Explosion STAB user in the game.

Dracozolt isn't good on paper because Electric is stopped by Ground and Dragon is stopped by Fairy. Sand Rush Dracozolt + Band is actually better than Hustle + Scarf because sand adds another 6% to zolt's damage output. But it's stopped even harder by Ground-types.
