In your opinion which gen had the best sprites? Personally I really like gen 2 for it's unique but polished sprites.

Close between 2 and 5.
I love 5s moving sprites, but there are some mons where it can look kind of jarring.
Lets just say that 2 had the most soul, but 5 was the ultimate evolution of Pokémon sprites.
