Feraligatr doesn't need too much, maybe you could spike its stats a bit more by just dumping its special attack down to 39, into +23 speed and +16 attack but there's only so much you can do there. Already has solid coverage and a good ability, maybe just some stuff like EQ, Close Combat, Outrage, and Icicle Crash? Basically just make it faster, make it hit harder, and make its coverage moves stronger than its current selection with a few that still trigger Sheer Force. If all that still wasn't enough you could maybe give it a new signature move, some kind of base 90ish physical water STAB with a cool secondary effect that doesn't trigger Sheer Force such as ignoring abilities or stat-ups, and a flinch chance to also trigger Sheer Force. If it's not at least pushing OU after that, something's gone wrong with OU.

I don't think much needs to be done here, actually. It has great Attack and Defense, a decent typing (resists some common attack types) although it's weak to rocks. It has a good movepool, with entry hazards, setup moves and priority. I think the only change that's needed is to improve Emergency Exit or give it another ability.
I've heard a few people say Emergency Exit should trigger at the end of a turn, rather than as soon as its HP drops below 50%. This would essentially give Golisopod an extra attack, but I'm not sure if this alone would make it OU. I think it would be more effective to give it a different ability altogether. Tough Claws immediately comes to mind because it's a great ability for physical attackers, and suits Golisopod thematically.

My best bros Volcarona and Coalossal are already great in VGC and in the smogon circlejerk. I would love them even if they weren't but still.
My old friend Torterra needs to get stronger to be high tier though. All i think he needs is an ability like Solid Rock, a little better defense, access to sleep powder, and one more decent special-based move like ancient power so he can set up growth and then dynamax and hit like a truck with special moves

What about giving Solrock Drought and Solar Blade? Levitate is good but it'd let it play with other teams more whether it's sand or sun. They made it physical so Solar Blade could be a fun idea to emphasize that. Definitely still needs help but it feels like a good start.

Access to spikes and grassy terrain as a third ability

There, the bst is kinda high but believable, grassy terrain is a big stretch but that didn't stop rilaboom; it's somewhat more inventive than just going for the obvious regenerator, and now it kinda has a niche as a middle-ground between rila and ferro.

I can see regenerator pushing it into OU, especially since it integrates really well with the corv/pex core but aromatherapy would be way too far without expanding it's movepool or increasing it's BST by a lot.
As it stands, it's doesn't hit hard enough for how frail it is outside of sand.

An alternative would be giving it calm mind + apple acid. I know apple acid is a signature move of another pokemon but Pokedex entries mention craydilly using acid on its foes. a rest talk set with regenerator would do wonders with calm mind and apple acid. Assuming you’re giving it an increase to its base hp.

Minior's Shields Down now activates as soon as it loses the HP requirement. Accelerock being exclusive to the failed shillmon no longer flies and now it is distributed to many Rocks. Stealth Rock distribution gets gutted, no more retarded nonsense of giving so many Ground types it. It stays near exclusively as only Rocks being able to use it

Drought would be pretty damn good, reducing Water effectiveness against it's Rock typing and filling in a niche of sun support (To my knowledge only Ninetails, Torkoal and Groudon have sun setting capabilities). However, I still think having that Psychic typing does it no favors. It gets eviscerated by common Dark type moves and it doesn't even really benefit from its STAB as its only physical Psychic move is Zen Headbutt.

I was thinking maybe it'd be better to just get rid of its Psychic typing but still retain a couple support options like the screens and Trick Room. Beyond that I don't really know what else to do. It learns a bunch of Fire type moves to take advantage of Drought.

I dunno might wanna lower stats a bit more. 100/90/120 with Dragon/Steel typing is still respectably bulky and 120/120 still hits hard. It's just not especially fast for current OU.

Of the 3 poison types in OU, only 2 use poison stab

I mean VGC is the official meta. But where milotic is a defensive monster by nature getting badly effected by toxic seems like a steep pay off. Plus I haven't be keeping up with pokmemon a whole lot this gen, but it seems that poison types are trending up with galarian slowking/bro and toxtricity which would basically mulch milotic plus there's always ever present things like amoongus, toxapex, and ferrothorn that would jump at the opportunity to switch on a water fairy to setup

It's not the offensive perks that it'd be losing out on, retard, or at least it's not what it concerns it most. Rhyperior's niche is being a tank that is immune to Electric and resists Rock, Fire and Flying at the same time while shrugging off non-quadruple supereffective hits. If you remove either of its types you turn it into something completely unremarkable if not fully outclassed.

But Eeveelutions all get 130, 110, 95, 65, 65, 60. Just in a different order.
There's about 3 good distributions for that. High Attack and Speed, high SpAtk and Speed, and high HP, Defense, and SpDef.
And if all of the Eeveelutions are good in the exact same way, they'll just outclass each other by filling their one role better.

It's a Flying-type move, so Gyarados can get STAB from it. Gyarados isn't a dragon, but it is similar enough to a dragon to ascend in a manner that a dragon would.
And it wouldn't even be broken, unlike other signature legendary moves. Dragon Ascent is just a Flying-type reskin of Close Combat.

I didn’t want to give it a bug/dragon typing as it isn’t literally a bug (Yanmega would honestly be the closest Pokémon you could justify that change for), but is similar enough that an ability that gives it bug stab along with turning all sound moves into bug-type moves wouldn’t hurt. Sheer Force also fits as it was Trapinch’s primary ability and a Punk Rock clone fits because of the singing thing it can do with it’s wings.

Abilities: Frisk is replaced with Aerilate, which now becomes it’s new HA

Or alternatively, keep the Bug/Flying typing and keep the +20 to Spe, but give it Dragon’s Maw as the new HA instead along with just Dragon Pulse for new Dragon STAB without the drawbacks.

I mean, Bug Bite is the only bite move it learns, but hey, Game Freak is kinda separate from the people who design Pokémon and write the dex entries. Why else would Vikavolt have 43 Spe when all of it’s dex entries are centred around it’s speed? Plus, whenever Game Freak actually cares about sticking with a Pokémon’s theming, they usually give them moves based around that theme, like with Toxricity

The problem is its still just a mono normal type with meh stats. Lando and Nido have actual good STABs to work with, Normal as attacking type is awful unless your attacking stat is ridiculous (Arceus, M-Kang). Correct me if im wrong but I think Tauros doesnt even learn any special normal moves except for Hyper Beam (which isnt even affected by Sheer Force). It would be a low tier mixed attacker with its current movepool, not an OU material.

It's hard making good allocations when 3 of your stats are 65 and under so asides grom 1 useless offense stat, 1 defense stat+HP are at shit values for the mon to work with in combat. They don't have Clefable's massive movepool or 2 great abilities to abuse outside of dear Espeon's Magic Bounce.
