2. Rumble Arena 1 & 2 (PS, PS2) and Battle Spirit (GBA/WonderSwan). Smash-like fighting games.
3. Digimon World 3, DW DS & Dawn/Dusk (DS). The closest thing to Pokémon games besides Cyber Sleuth (these are all the same series in Japan, Digimon Story, except DW3 which is the precursor).
4. DW Next Order (PS4). You'll love this if you love the Virtual Pets.
5. Digimon ReArise. A mobile game that is fairly good despite being a mobile game.

>>46630840>the series peaked on the dsI like the DS games but many can't get over how DW DS has lazy evolution trees or the grind in Dawn/Dusk or the lack of good story/characters/exploration in general. But yeah, these games can be entertaining once you get over that. The grind isn't even that bad later in Dawn/Dusk, it's just terrible when you start. I guess many couldn't stand it and quit before it was tolerable.
