Puff's only negative MU is Fox and goes even to positive with the rest of the roster. Marth, Sheik, Peach, Falcon, and Pikachu get fucking destroyed by B-air spam while 20% is death percent for Spacies and the U-throw u-air Rest combo works to like 70%.

The only reason people don't use Puff is because they hate it and would genuinely rather lose than make the game "lame" in their eyes by winning with Puff

Jigglypuff isn't "literally can't win" low tier. She's "a pain in the ass to play well, so nobody wants to" low tier. You occasionally get people like hungrybox or wangera (the 5th best ranked Smash64 player in the world) who take the time to learn her and manage to get results. She's a very well balanced character.

Neither does being low tier. Tiers functionally measure how easy it is to win with a character. If it were just about how good a character could be when played at their full potential, Puff would absolutely be right below Fox in Melee (and MAYBE Falco).

Puff is one of the easiest characters to win with at top level due to low tech skill barrier, good and convenient matchup spread, busted stage counterpick (Dream Land) and being somewhat rare relative to how good the character is so chances are the opponent has less matchup experience. No character is easy to win with, it's a hard game.

It's not how easy a character is to learn or how good the matchup is, it's how easy a character is to win with. Despite Jigglypuff having everything going for her, she's not Fox-tier because she's still a very high risk character whose mistakes are punished HARD due to her light weight.

I don't think you actually play Melee. Puff has one of the highest mistake leniences because she doesn't really get combo'd and she always makes it back to the stage. If low weight was such a hindrance Fox and Falco would suck too. Other characters get blown up much harder for their mistakes. She also has the best reversal tool in the game so even if she spends and an entire stock making stupid mistakes she can still even up things.

This is blatantly untrue. In fact, because of her lightweight and floatiness, if you don't kill Puff early, she'll end up living to 130%+. It happens all the fucking time if you don't get a low-percent kill confirm. Fox's U-Throw to U-air stops working completely around 85% (and becomes insanely strict with the timing at around 80%), and kill percent for that is like 70%ish. You have barely a 15% damage window to get the most "reliable" kill confirm on Puff. If you fail that, I hope you like have to fish for the strong hit of B-air against the the Back Air Pope of Smash.
