Hi /vp/, I have several hypotheses about the Pokemon fanbase in general that I want to test out. I made a few survey questions to get an idea, and I’m asking /vp/ because I have another hypothesis that this board, for the most part, is not only representative of the long-time fans as a whole but that the people here are more likely to be completely blunt about what they truly believe.
This isn’t some a/s/l bullcrap, I don’t care about who you voted for or if you’re a tranny or not or anything like that.
Without further ado:
1) What is the first Pokemon game that you played?
2) What is the oldest Pokemon game that you played? For example, if you played RS first, and then went back and played RB later, then RB is your answer.
3) What is the most current Pokemon game that you played? For example, if you played RS first, and then played SWSH at launch but just played RB for the first time last week, your answer is SWSH.
4) Between the first game you played and the most current one, did you skip any? Which ones? For example, if our sample answer from earlier played everything from RS to SWSH but skipped BW and BW2, those would be their answer. However, if they went back and played RB but not GS, I don’t need to know that.
5) Why did you skip these games? Was it because you didn’t own the new console? Did it just not appeal to you?
6) If your answer to 3) was anything before SWSH, why did you stop playing? For example, if our sample response stopped playing at RS, I would want to know why they didn’t play FRLG, Emerald, and DP, but not for any of the games after that. Basically only leading up to the first game of the next gen.
