Was a Nuzlocke but I didn’t lose it. I have a clause where if I use all 3 starters of a generation that I box them just for some variety.

I've been gradually going through Sapphire with monoteam runs, after doing a professor oak run.

Sapphire's pretty much my only GBA game that still works, and my DS/3DS are toast. I have no switch.

I've been doing various autistic themeing for each of my teams. All my normal mons were just nicknamed as their first form names(when applicable), but in lowercase. My fire team was named after fire themed animu characters, etc.

I thought naming my bugs after their inspiration matched an entomologist.

Just got to po town. Ultra moon. This game took me by surprise ive wiped many times already. Had to attempt all the totem battles at least twice except for the first one. Just wiped recently on the trainer with the ev trained gabite and also on the trainer near the ghost trial with the honchkrow. Ive wiped more in this game than any other. I'm also like 1 or two levels below most things I face as I have the exp share off, no grinding, and only catching things I might want on my team. Oh and set mode and no in battle items of course. Its refreshing and a bit frustrating at times, especially when trainers start to have evs and mine have only minimal random ones from battles.

Thanks! Ledian is pretty good, it can learn Thunder Punch and Ice Punch which is basically all it's been doing. It knows Supersonic and Light Screen too, but it doesn't need those as much. I haven't gotten to use Forretress much yet, but Take Down does nice damage as long as it's not resisted. I just want to use him because I think it'd be fun to kill stuff with Toxic, Spikes, and Protect. He has Take Down, Protect, Pin Missle, and Bide but I'm still training him.

Ok I got to Victory Road by the skin of my teeth, then traveling through it I got rocked. The wild Pokémon here are too strong. I doubled back to change up my team and gather surprise. Victory Road attempt number 2 team.

I just caught Dodrio and wanted to use it, but I can only bring five Pokémon with me unfortunately because I need a rental for Waterfall. Sucks that there isn't a PC on this side of KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yeah, Pin Missle is actually alright. It's definitely not something you'd use in a regular playthrough, but it's probably going to allow him to cream Will's team. I just wanted Forretress to have some attacking options so he didn't feel too barebones lol. Since I was already raising Beedrill, I figured why not

Current team of GSC, about to finish up the Johto league with Claire's gym. Last spot has been rotating out a lot.
The Red Gyarados is basically an HM Whore for now until I finish exploring Johto and clean up its final moveset.

Just restarted playing the gen 3 games on legit hardware, here's the team I ended up beating Leaf Green with.

Yeah, for some reason I just didn't realise that half of my team was weak to ice and psychic until I hit the elite 4, because you never see any psychic trainers outside of Koga and Sabrina's gyms, and I skipped Seafoam island entirely.

Just started playing Altair. Very good romhack, for a romhack of it's age that contains fakemons. Generally solid fakemons + no retarded bullshit
My favorite Pokemon so far is Glachild. I managed to catch myself a Glachild holding a NeverMeltIce, so it's super powerful. You very rarely get the chance to use an earlygame Ice-Type, so I wasn't gonna miss that opportunity. Especially since the Glachild I caught was holding a NeverMeltIce
With this Glachild, I managed to get a freeze on a wild Abra, allowing me to catch it without breaking out of the Pokeball and fucking off with Teleport

Its literally my first ever playthrough of Crystal, skipped Gen 2 and went straight from 1 to 3 as a kid so suck my dick. I plan to use a lot more mons and sets for Battle Tower and maybe Stadium 2 so I'm definitely going to branch out.
A lot of my mon picks are limited by the fact I can't trade too.

No more story that I know of. Second Master ball, Taraxo's request and mythicals. The mythical meeting the rapper dude was cool. You can't battle the E4 again, it's not the type of project with a huge postgame after the story's wrapped up.

Maybe the battle condo and another place, the snow village dojo. You can't trade or battle other players, so that gimps gameplay a bit.

I've beaten the Kanto gyms in SoulSilver, but I'm getting bored, so since I have 6 physical attackers I want to train up 6 special attackers so I can have more options to use in the Elite Four rematch and against Red. I used Bellossom the whole run, and Nidoking was my HM slave but he has a Modest nature, so I'm giving him a redemption arc. What other good special attacters are there in SoulSilver? I'm thinking Slowking since I haven't used one before.

Final team. Got wiped by Misty. The extra level on Reed is from an experimental attempt at her that ended successfully and resulted in a level up. He was level 21 when I got wiped.

I'm this anon fucking wiped to guzma three times in a row. Honestly having the opponents with ev trained pokemon is bullshit. Things you would normally outspeed outspeed you, nothing can take a more than one hit when their attacking stats are maxed. Its a little much. But I'm working around it. Not going to ev train or grind but I did change my team around a bit. Incineroar fucking sucks. Slow even with the speed boosting nature and cant take hits, and cant do much damage either. Replaced with marowak. Decidueye was too slow and didnt hit very hard, replaced with totem mimikyu. Scyther was good, and I might bring him back but his coverage became redundant. Replaced him with lycanroc who is surprisingly bulky, and can set stealth rock, which helped with guzma, and use counter which is nice. Electabuzz, sigh... I really love electabuzz but its just really frail and cant hit hard enough to make up for it. Shame because buzz is one of my favorite mons. Replaced by totem togedemaru which happened to have sturdy which is great. Guarantees I can at least paralyze something or get a last ditch hit off. Thought it would be helpful against necrozma. Feraligatr was okay, but I realized that he wont get physical water stab until level 65 or something which is too long to wait. And waterfall and liquidation are really late game so my only water stab is water pledge which is special and doesnt abuse sheer force. Replaced with totem araquanid. Who now has water bubble scald and choice specs. Muk is fucking great and will stay on the team for sure. I kike my team better now as its fully alola-ized too. I'm underleveled for where I'm at but I'm not gonna grind. I'll just let things even out naturally with the gen 5 style experience scale. But yea. Thanks for reading my ultra blog fgts.
