Lando is easy to counter. It has its reputation because of its insane amount of usage, but it gets used not because of how hard it is to defeat, but because of how many roles it can perform.
You can easily beat it with any ice coverage. Or just hit it with a decently strong special attack, since its special bulk is pretty underwhelming. Hell, its physical bulk is underwhelming if you're using a mon immune to Intimidate or if you're switching in against it instead of it switching in against you.
