When those 6 Pokemon each limited to 4 moves, it's bullshit

There's a reason no other RPG makes field progression tied to moves and either makes field abilities separate from your battle moves, or just uses roadblocks that disappear when you've done what you need to do in order to progress

You only need Strength and Cut to beat BW (and you only use cut once in the entire game)
And BW2 only requires Surf and Strength to beat it.

You don't need Strength in BW1. The only usage of HMs in the main game is that one tree you Cut in the Dreamyard. Honestly Gen 5 was really based

Why do I specifically need Cut to cut down trees? Why can't any slashing move or Pokemon with claws do the job? Why can't any strong Pokemon push boulders? Why does a Water Pokemon need to know a certain move to swim? They already knew how to swim before I caught them.

If only there was a magical computer I could store extra pokemon in. Can't believe I either have to waste a party slot or distribute HMs among my team. I wish I could use more than 6 pokemon in a playthrough somehow.
