Why do people say the post-game in BW is god tier? I beat Ghetsis around level 50 average, now random trainers are level 65-70 average. I also can't find shit to do besides get Kyurem and Thundurus/Tornadus.

Once you get past that level difference(which you can do easily by blowing through the E4) there’s a ton of shit to do. Fight Alder, Cynthia, go through the other half of the region, hunt down the remaining members of Team Plasma, etc.

Post-game in BW had the absolute dumbest idea (for the West anyway) of having the postgame area be streetpass dependent, and have it start counting down the second you start up the game so Black City and White Forest were just completely barren for American players.

Beat the elite 4 a second time and then do the Looker Quest in East Unova. Tons of content and areas to explore and you'll be decently levelled. Villag Bridge, Relic Castle, Undella etc are all great

You're mistaken. It's BW2 that have based postgame. I won't spoonfeed you what to do in it, either, the fun is in the exploration of the areas that have opened up. Just pay attention to where you can't access during the main game, and revisit those areas once you've beaten the champ.

Alola Postgame is carried by various sidequests and events (things like the Pyukumuku beach event, Eevee trainer event, etc), Battle Tree, Battle Agency (for as gimmicky as it is, its pretty fun), and Ultra Wormhol.
I'd say the Ultra Games have some of the better postgame content in the series, though I'll wholly admit that's because most of the series has shit postgame content if we're including every base game into the equation

I think the sidequests are pretty fun but once you finish the main game of Alola...you're basically done exploring. Aside from Poni Gauntlet and the UB wormholes, Alola really has no exploration in post game. Most of it is just catching legendaries and doing trainer battles. Alola has tons of charm it just doesn't have much in terms of gameplay.

Even if the trainers have a jump in level, gen 5 has exp scaling so you catch up quickly. Also, most of the trainers, especially in the early areas, use shitmons that you can easily get exp from. There are trainers in the Dreamyard using Jigglypuff and Natu.
