>>46666557Gym 6 - Blaziken is lv47 or so at this point, gym leader is once again easily swept. Vibrava is at lv40 at this point and I swap the exp share to Nuzleaf for the next route until it learns Faint Attack at lv30ish and I evolve it. I then use Vibrava only for the next little while so it finally evolves into Flygon after battling the rival in Lilycove. I move the exp share to Lairon now. At this point there’s a whole bunch of bullshit involving the evil teams, and going down that optional route below Mt Pyre, so by the time I reach Mossdeep my Lairon evolves into Aggron. I pretty much almost entirely stop using Aggron at this point. Shiftry is at lv33 and Blaziken is around lv50.
Gym 7 - Before I did this gym I decided to go to Shoal Cave, catch a Spheal (it was mid lv30s so it took only 1 level to evolve), then go across every single eastern water route and clear out every Trainer so I don’t have to deal with them later. By the time I finally deal with the gym, I have Walrein already at lv45, Shiftry around lv40, and Blaziken in early 50s. I beat Tate/Liza with Walrein and Shiftry alone. Flygon and Aggron are still sitting at their evolution levels. Afterward I go back to using Blaziken only while keeping exp share mostly on Shiftry for the rest of the game. I get Dive, backtrack to all the Dive spots, then visit Sootopolis to register the fly location and deal with the Team Aqua bullshit.
Gym 8 - Blaziken is lv56-57 now, as well as Walrein and Shiftry being a bit higher leveled. I mostly use Shiftry for the gym leader while bringing out Walrein and Blaziken a bit to clean up. After getting Waterfall I go to Meteor Falls to battle all the Trainers there, get the Dragon Claw TM, and catch a Bagon just for fun.
