Does anyone else like to mod their starters in Pokegen for a run through HGSS?
Haven't played this gem in a long time but i thought I should dust off the ol' DS and R4 and playthrough with all 3 starters.

What's the point in autistically having a new "bro" when it will just be data identical to a few lines of text for the showdown teambuilder? You're supposed to deal with the randomized stats for a unique playthrough.

I never actually had the ability to cheat in starters for different runs so i just bred a Pokemon i wanted to use and traded the egg over.
or i had a run in Diamond where i traded a gabite over and used him as my starter very cool and memorable run as a kid since it reminded me of Ash and his Charmeleon/Charizard in the show.

Rarely do I ever hack in a starter but sometimes I hack in the base stages of my entire team so I’m not waiting until Gym 8 to get an unevolved Pokémon to grind up.

I am thinking of starting a new HG run soon, and I am going to breed the three starters for myself. It'll be fun I think. The rest of the team will be: Skarmory, Heracross, and Larvitar.
I want a full Johto team.
