Steel types usually fall into 2 categories, armored monsters and robotic creatures
It seems like people wanted it to be the first kind or maybe even completely forgot about the robotic undertones of steel types
So if you actually switch your view on steel types then Duraludon's design makes complete sense and it's "fixes" become the works of retards who do not get steel type designs
