People who like Typhlosion: Typhlosion is good because it's not Charizard.
Dexit was the worst thing to happen to this goddamn franchise. There have always been rivalries but Dexit killed any friendliness there was between them. Dexit basically told everyone that 29% of the previous Pokemon were not worthy of entering Galar and by extension, said that fans of those Pokémon were not worthy. To add insult, Galar's entire culture revolved around Charizard; "Undefeated Charizard", A new form for Charizard, Charizard Pose, Charizard Curry, Charizard Car". Game Freak may as well spat on every single person who didn't start with Charizard and said, "That's what you get for not worshipping Charizard from KANTOOO".
Then there's Typhlosion which is basically Charizard's unloved younger brother.
Its Region gets shit on for being "worse Kanto"
Has the Exact Base Stats as Charizard but is far worse competitively because it doesn't get special snowflake buffs like Charizard.
Only has Eruption, while Charizard literally has move movesets than Typhlosion has usable moves.
Appeared in the anime less than Jynx, while Charizard appears in everything
Didn't get a Mega, while Charizard got two
"Do not ever use this Pokemon with the intent of winning games", while Charizard was OU TWICE because of its Megas.
Now all of a sudden for first time in Game Freak history, they're giving the Cyndaquil Family attention, while Charizard is seemingly left out. (we all know there's going to be Mega Dyna Charizard DLC or something). But Typhlosionfans have grown so tired of being shit on, instead of celebrating Typhlosion, its become about bashing Charizard, while they have the upperhand for once. Which sucks because Typhlosion is my fav Pokemon, but I think Charizard is cool to. But that's just how it now. Dexit Killed the franchise, and Game's Freak's favoritism buried it.
