Once upon a time there a land known as "4chan". Save for bad jannies and tripfags it was a prosperous and carefree land of fun and otaku. Then one day a normie wandered in. He was told to lurk moar, to read the rules, and ignored at other times. He left one day in fear but then another arrived until it became a cycle of normies arriving and leaving to tell their friends of the horrors of this land so drastically different from their own culture. Some normies laughed, others cowered in fear, but some were left curious and made out for this land to see it for themselves. Some, against all efforts to repel them, stayed. The users, powerless, could do nothing to make anyone leave but to tell them so. Moderators cared naught for gatekeeping as they should have. Eventually more normies arrived, merely laughing at the attempts of the users to protect their sacred land from the desecration of such vermin. Over time normies continued flooding in while many of the original users left for better lands. Still some older ones persisted, never wanting to leave their home land. These anons could only bear witness to the destruction of the normies upon their home and when it all seemed like the normies would stop they began mutating. No longer were they bound by gender in choosing a mate. No longer were they bound by their own social standards. No longer were they bound by logic. And no longer were they even bound by their own gender as they began mutilating some of their own gender, playing a lifelong game of pretend to be the gender they were not. They flooded into every board, barely posting on-topic discussion, never posting OC, substituting legitimate arguments for insults and demanding this foreign land they hated change to suit their personal petty desires. The original otaku who devoted themselves to their homeland watched it devolve into ruin, degeneracy, and despair. Still more otaku left for greener pastures never sending word of their findings.
