>>46671499I buy the games and am disappointed because I have seen how beautiful the older generations are. They all have imperfections and I accept it. Some Flaws that couldn't be corrected because of the technology available at the time could be improved so much and I use to always look forward to the next game. But seeing Shining Diamond and Brilliant Pearl poss me off. By trying to stay 'faithful' they have essentially turned it into a mobile game, the chibis look awful. The art in general and the battle art clash so much it's like the game doesn't know what it wants. I was so excited for the remakes because the technology of the time was limited but nowadays you can do so much and I was interested to see how far they would push the graphics. Remakes are suppose to improve the experience previous. E.g. Pokémon Platinum. So seeing them not do that grinds my gears. The only one U have any hopes for is Pokémon Legends Arceus.
Sorry for the long rant I'll sum it up here:
>I am full of nostalgia but the main reason I buy the games and then complain is because I love the franchise and I know that they can do so much better because the graphics improved. I complain because I want improvement to reach their full potential. Pokémon is like a child, I want to nurture them and see them become something amazing.
