Since Unown is in the Sinnohdex but in the current gen Hidden Power doesn't exist anymore.

So either
A. Hidden Power will be back for Gen 8 as a whole
B. Unown will have a new move gimmick like Psywave or some shit
C. It will be the first gen where the remake can't trade with the main gen game

BDSP probably won't be compatible with SwSh at all so they don't have to have the same stuff. They'll probably bring back moves like return and pursuit and hp

It could just be incompatible. There is precedent with the Primals and new megas from ORAS and the UBs and new Z-moves from USUM.

I've been saying for a while now, the games will probably only connect through Home, with blocks there to prevent anything that would cause issues, just like the Kanto mons that can leave LGPE but not enter SwSh.

Most likely, they never said the move cull wouldn't work like the mon cull.

I don't think its related at all given making the games tradable with each other would require undoing the new policy. Otherwise, it'd be an unnecesary hassle.

They can just add restrictions to battle and trading, like with the Time Machine in G/S.

Just what we need, more excuses to push Home. GameFreak has gotten so shitty, we can't even connect games of the same generation to trade and battle anymore.

Yes, the restrictions are you need to use Home to migrate pokemon from BDSP and you won't be able to battle.
Game Freak aren't making BDSP, what make you think they're going to tell the mules to bother with making it compatible with SS?
