Its pretty cool I guess, I am by far less familiar with it and its history/geopolitics when compared to the other 2 countries in the region, armenia and azerbaijan, but I am somewhat familiar with it through football, its unique position in the language family tree being quite distantly related from all other language groups, it having its own independent kingdom during the middle ages, and as stalins birthplace

It's an interesting watch. It's probably the worst anime series, but there are some things it does very well.
>Both travelling companions have fun rivals
>Ash's team has some interesting personalities (bar Tepig and Pidove)
>A shitload of battle tournaments if you're into that
>Somehow, they made every time Bianca is on screen a highlight
>The episodes where Meowth travels with the kids
The episode where Ash catches Sewaddle is one of my favourites in the whole series.

I was watching a couple clips on YouTube and it really made me feel like a kid again enjoying the anime. Is it worth rewatching? I forgot how likable all the characters are along with the banter that comes with their rivalries.

That’s the one thing that bewilders me. I always reminded myself that BW anime was considered the weakest of the bunch by every pokemon fan. Which I agree, but one thing that bugs me is why do I enjoy the characters and the main gang’s pokemon interactions to each other despite being in a bad Gen 5 anime. When it comes to X and Y anime, I honestly can’t help but feel bored. It looks pretty and well animated, but I can’t bring myself being into the characters like how I did with the BW crew. I enjoy Ash’s banters with his BW crew with the whole “You’re such a kid!” and meeting odd rivals that Ash and co. has to face. Probably because the X and Y dub is probably mediocre.
