Don't get me wrong, it was there in past games like it showing up in plazas or getting references like Charizard bridge of Mega X/Y, but what possessed them to start randomly shoving it in every form of media with hamfisted mentions starting Sun and Moon?
Gen 7 was going to be the first game to have a dex cut, yet Charizard was STILL in despite not even being a part of Alola's regional dex and not having a single entry in any of the Alola games.
What gives?
