I get that brand new pokemon should be available somehow before the poat-gane (they even fucked that up in crystal still) and that Hitmontop is a pain in the ass that sure ain't worth it; but come on. Complaining that you have to explore dungeons with new HMs would be like saying electabuzz was hard to get in Gen 1 because it requires a new HM and backtracking.
