Let's play a game, imagine yourself in the Pokémon world. Make a (realistic) team based on what you would do in this world. I'll start: Ranger for my local forest.>Meganium The ranger facility gives out free starters for the job, it's my right hand mon.>Gogoat That's my ride, gets me around and can even fight.>Carnivine Some dumbass released a bunch of Scythers a while ago, those pests are a non native species, very invasive and are messing up the environment. This good lad helps me to attract and fight them.>Exeggutor This tall dude is basically my mobile watch tower, helps me spot criminals and fires over long distances. Very good at camouflaging itself like the next on the list.>Stunfisk As you may know this species of Stunfisk likes to disguise themselves and play the role of a trap. I've caught many vandals thanks to its help.>Audino Not much to say here, it's the healer of the team, a must for the job.>Bibarel Only you can prevent forest fires.

Sure. I could be a Fisherman>Pelipper Always loved Pelipper and it could serve as a scout to take me where the fish was and even help me fish with its beak>Lanturn Good for providing illumination while fishing at night while also zapping any threats that come nearby>Lapras Could serve as a fishing platform, save on boat expenses>Octillery Can defend me from aerial threats by shooting at them, could also jump into the water to cover my retreat with ink if necessary>Golduck Psychic so it can relay my instructions to all my Pokémon no matter how far away they are, and receive communication back from them>Clamperl One of my favorite Pokémon, doesn't really have a role besides glorified mascot

I’m a CNA and frankly I wouldn’t mind being one in the Pokémon world. -Blissy Any bedside healthcare professionals Friend. Soothing and kind. -Delcatty A calming companion Pokémon and since I work mainly with dementia patients I find even if they loved dogs their whole lives that once stage 7 dementia hits dogs scare them. I think it’s the way they move in an energetic manner but cats move in a more causal way at most I would not evolve my skitty but I’m autistic and the idea of not letting Pokemon evolve triggers me. -Musharna I don’t approve of just drugging dementia patients to make them easier to deal with. My hope with this pick would be to offer subtle soothing psychic aromatherapy to keep them alert but not alarmed. -gardevoir Female humanoid Pokémon that could help me shower my patients. Even men tend to prefer female nurses to shower them. Preventing falls with psychic powers would be helpful as well. — Swablu I’m not a nurse I’m a CNA which means I get shit pay and have to also clean peoples homes and make less then a maid would. Swablu would help me clean. Dusting places I can’t reach. —Furret More for me then my job furret is my favorite Pokémon hands down. Thanks to Pokémon’s intelligence I think my long bodied buddy would still be useful and helpful.

I'm a System Admin, all purpose professional IT. -Porygon-2 Given only computer based Pokemon line, but genuinely really helpful for integrating with computer systems. Probably supplied by by job. -Porygon-Z Penetration security tester and general malware dump. Probably eats malware and viruses. Likely a shared Porygon-Z the whole office uses. -Rotom Another given electronic based Pokemon. Good for entering devices to troubleshoot. Also general purpose electric type for discharging static electricity and testing voltage. Probably company supplied. -Dedenne Small electricity resistant rodent for crawling into high voltage spaces to run cables. Same electricity based benefits, but having a proper physical body unlike Rotom for running cables and getting into small spaces. Probably a personal Pokemon. -Reuniclus Good for levitating objects. My personal Pokemon that I use at work for utility. -Granbull My bosses pet dog she brings in everyday. Office mascot. Professional beggar and steals food.
