>>46686193On one hand, correct me if I'm wrong, but there had been at least one in game trade that did allow you to get a Pokemon that evolved by trade properly beforehand, so there is a precedent. On the other hand, it was a bit too good to be true, but at least the GTS existed in Gen 4. It would have been a lot more painful in a previous generation.
