Yes. Back when he only came to /vp/, he'd spam leaf threads everyday, and if someone dared to post any other pokegirl or claimed she's better than leaf, he'd throw a fit. He was also a nuisance in /pmg/ and showderp. He can't even normally play pokemon, he thinks he can just unga bunga with Charizard and win, so he often complains about Masters being "too hard" and not being able to understand how to plan his moves. There's enough evidence if you search for his replays on Showdown.

TCP doesn't seem to know how they want to use the two designs. They do seem like they want them to be separate characters. The black shirt and no hat is an old lass design. When they made FRLG they made the "Leaf" design and it's designated to be Leaf and Red's female counterpart. If you look at manga, they have Blue(JP)/Green(ENG) they started with the lass one but then they draw her with the Leaf design. Then in the Let's Go games they bring back the lass for a small part where at first she tries to catch the player character after you catch Mewtwo. In Pokemon Masters Ex make Leaf a character. Not sure if they plan to add the lass design in Masters Ex or not and call her Blue(JP)/Green(ENG).

I'm sure they did but they weren't diligent enough. Schizophrenics need to take their meds on a schedule because they'll take them until they get lucid and then just stop. Even if he didn't, he still has internet access. One can easily search for any question along the lines of "what does thinking mean?", "what happens when we think?", "how do we learn stuff?" or "How do we know if we're really learning something and we're not just being fooled?". If he has at least basic reading comprehension, he should be able to at least make something out of the schools of philosophy that try to answer these questions.
