It was a fine fan game. It avoided the trap of having 18 gyms for each type and actually completed the storyline and from what I heard, they're focusing on adding content to the post game.

It seems decent, but like most fangames/romhacks it was overrated from the start because it's a full game. Once the hype died down people started noticing some of the more questionable decisions like a Sound type and a lot if the fakemon designs being weak.

Fakemon designs are the strongest part of the game. 90% feel like they could be real Pokémon. There are a couple of stinkers but they still retain a Pokémon aesthetic.

I'm playing through it now. Just got out of the Xenoverse. The story doesn't completely blow, which makes it leagues above other fangames, but the Sound Type was a shitty addition. Also none of the playable characters look great, though the female actually isn't that bad, even though the chipmunk teeth ruin her design.

The game is ruined because of how fucking slow it is plus the "stutter-step" issue with movement. A damn shame, because if it was on a better engine/better optimized, it would've been great

It's too linear for my taste but it's a good game that feels like an appropriate sequel to Gen 5 in terms of aesthetics and atmosphere with some Digimon inspiration for the plot.
