I'm a Gen 4 supremacist but have fond memories of growing up with Gen 5 also as my second favourite Gen. If you see Sinnohchads hating on Unova it's definitely exceptional retards since those who praise either Gens are usually DS era fans, when the series undoubtedly peaked.

On my first playthrough of BW2 when I was like 8 I didn't remember I could catch pokemon and just overlevelled my Emboar until I kept losing to Skyla and restarted with Oshawott who I then kept losing to Burgh's Leavanny. I didn't beat BW2 until about my 4th playthrough when I used a team I saw a Youtuber use. Fuck, I was a dumbass.

I was like 6 when this happened but my brother's friend got hold of Red and lent it to my brother. I did not understand the concept of single save files on a game I had never really played before so I just overwrote his save file after wanting to try it myself
