this is what I think will happen:
* late april/beginning of may - BDSP, maybe Arceus
* "after e3" - BDSP and Arceus
* september - BDSP
* october - BDSP
* post BDSP launch - "delayed for mid/late 2022 please understand" unless the switch pro shit is real in which case probably release announced in march as a release title.

What does it matter?
We know it's going to look and run like shit, but it will still sell a billion copies and be praised by casuals and game journos for being "a bold and innovative new spin on the Pokemon franchise".

Will it though? From what I've seen, the initial hype is nowhere close to swsh. And we're at a crossroads where not even twittertards care about game journos anymore. I do agree this will sell a lot of copies, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't even sniff LGPE numbers.

That's what I'd expect, but there doesn't seem to be much actual hype for it. I see more talk about the shitty remakes. It's nice to see gamefreak trying something different for once, but I think Pokemon's general audience would've preferred a DP version of ORAS over both of the upcoming Sinnoh games.
