They love the money they get from Pokemon, but deep down they feel creatively unfulfilled because nothing they do will ever be even a fraction as successful.

There may be a lot of good Bug types but the type itself is objectively terrible, with how many weaknesses it has, its relative lack of resistances, and how poor it is offensively.
