Spectrier’s Substitute set could pretty much beat everything in the tier and after gaining a boost, would just clean house.
Cinderace effectively has a free Choice Band without the downside since it has a Protean clone, and also got great coverage speed.
Darmanitan-G literally has a Choice Band for its ability, and it effectively nullifies the downside of an actual Choice Item, so you could be running 2 Choice Bands (A 2.25x boost) or a Choice Band+Scarf, and there would be no additional downsides to using 2 Choice items. It also has amazing coverage.
Dracovish can pretty much erase anything that isn’t Water Immune. Put it up against a common Wall, and despite the effect that is supposed to activate only when you go first, it still registers switching as “going first”. Unless you are immune to Water, Fishious Rend is effectively a death scentence. Even Seismitoad couldn’t counter it because of Outrage still doing a ton of damage and it being easy to wear down, and forcing people to run WishPass Clefable with it.
Pheromosa is still too fast and powerful. It’s non-existant bulk means nothing when U-turn exists. Although Pheromosa should be retested since it was quick banned when a bunch of other broken Pokemon were in the tier. U-turn should also just be tested in general since so many Pokemon are as broken because of their U-turns or other Pokemon’s U-turns.
And Urshifu-S has excellent coverage, bypasses through protect, and even has great physical bulk. You were required to either outspeed it (which would fail against Sucker Punch) or run a regen core that would constantly switch.
