This brings my next point. Every excuse for Dexit was either wrong or a flat out lie.
Better animations? Lie. All the old Pokemon have the same animations they've always had, with the exception of maybe a few minor tweaks.
New models? Lie. New textures are not new models.
In fact, if what we saw in the game were new animations and models, that would make Game Freak look even worse, because that would mean they spent possibly thousands of manhours recreating exact copies of something they claimed wasn't good enough to be in the game.
Game balance? Lie. There was no correlation between competitive viability and which Pokémon got cut. Not only that but they brought back the legendaries. Not only that but most of the Power Creep is due to the new Pokemon like Zacian-C, and Calyrex-Riders. They couldn't even balance the two main dogs Zacian is Anything Goes while Zamazenta is useless.
Pokemon fitting the region: Lie. No Stantler, No Sawsbuck, No Swanna, No Granbull.
Give lesser used Pokémon the spotlight: Because CHARIZARD FROM KANTOOO never gets attention right?
Pokemon will have an active role in Home? The biggest lie of them all. No battles, no mini-games, not even Amie. It's basically a holding cell.
What's worse, anyone who talks about this is attacked by twitter-shit with death threats. Because wanting to bring your Pokémon into the newest Pokémon region means you hate Pokémon. IMPECCABLE LOGIC.
Then these same people try to derail the discussion by calling DistantKingdom a pedo (even though most twittertwats making that accusation are probably child groomers). They also bring up the false rape accusation against Masuda which would be a fair point, except, most Twitter-cunts believe that "men falsely accused of rape can learn from the experience".
