>>46719485Here's the thing though, I'm a National Dexer and hate that a lot of the moves and features are gone but all that considered, it just makes the game more disappointing than actually bad.
OP doesn't have to buy the game, but it's still a by the books Pokémon game just with slight HD flair with some mixed production values on the settings and as I said, it's a tame Pokémon journey because the experience is like playing a huge game show with a villain that actually means well in the most ass way.
If OP is curious about how an HD Pokémon game could play, it does its job as a stepping stone. Doesn't have to buy it new and could rent it if he (?) wants. A lot of the hate for the game is basically either over missing content players wanted to keep or because of visual choices that look off but only in some areas rather than towns and inner structures.
Criticisms are still valid but at least learn to be fair and objective about them.
