What is this HA good for? Seems dumb to ruin Disarming Voice. Popplio etc. already learn some water moves anyway.

Snore gets stab boost if you want to run some kind of rest set. Hyper voice isnt dodged by ghost types anymore and also still can pierce substitutes.

Since it's Primarina's signature ability it also has to deal with Sparkling aria which has the same power as hyper voice, is sound-based, can hit both targets in doubles and can heal allies in doubles. I believe that still makes liquid voice redundant.

Sparkling Aria hits every target just like Surf and it heals burns not only for your ally but your opponent as well. It’s a complete dogshit move that never saw competitve use. By comparision Hyper Voice is a simple 90 BP 100 accuracy spread sound move, it was used by pretty much every Primarina in VGC when she was still viable.

No, I don't have just a few favourites, is my point. Been playing the entire length of the existence of the series western localisation, thus have a broad pool of pokémon I favour. I don't have one overall favourite in-game where I'll absolutely shit myself in angst if it doesn't appear and as I don't give a fuck for the meta, the numbers that comprise them similarly don't bother me.
I accept my bros for what they are, not cry about changing them to something the devs clearly didn't envision them to be.

The devs invision certain Pokemon to be a lot of shit. Doesn't mean they are, in practice. Game Freak was surprised when people were using Special Aegislash, for example
