>>46728372The problem is that the thing is not really barebones, more like, it's incomplete until you buy all the other books (shitty practice btw), and people don't want to pay for those fucking things, so they watch one video here and there and want to implement who knows what kind of homebrew mechanic within something.
For example, inserting anime classes on 5e like a Stand user, there are better ttrpgs for that, but they will still homebrew it for 5e.
Overall, the system is Meh, but the vocal fan base makes me wanna skin myself alive, and the homebrew basement dwellers are shit. It's okay to homebrew a setting, but don't go nilly willy on mechanics ffs
