Immediately. XY was the first time I was disappointed by a Pokémon game. I liked it ok, but was overall disappointed by the lack of depth to the games. Super easy, kinda boring, and half the models looked like shit.

When the games after it weren't any better. I gave XY a lot of slack in day because I assumed all the issues with it would be worked out in the third version or the next gen at worst. That didn't happen.
