>>46729462Idk if I'd say they're the only good legendary designs after Gen III, but they are a couple of the best. Very colorful and distinct designs. As for XY in general, they're overhated. XY can be a tad bit bland at points, but overall they're great games. They added a lot of great features that I personally valued a lot, like character customization, Amie/Refresh, and mega evolutions. It had the best online with the PSS, added a solid batch of new mons with a couple of my all time favorites included (Talonflame and Aegislash), and for better or worse took the leap to 3D and introduced the most changes of any Pokemon game since many years before.
