Appealing to them through magazines isn't anything new, yet I always find funny that a small pandering to a niche group always manages to steer up straights.
Same shit with k-pop. Males feel sad when they are made fun from liking Japanese idols or anime, but are always attacking and making fun of their female counterparts that like K-pop and Korean soap operas.
