I mean, Pokémon has generated $3m in airline ticket sales alone, by offering a pokémon-themed flight experience, when Disney manages to generate that kind of demand, let alone sales comme talk about Disney buying Pokémon. As it stands, they can't afford Pokémon, Nintendo, Creatures, Game Freak AND TPC, let alone thinking of buying in.

Major upside would be better visuals and performance because literally anyone is more competent than Gamefreak. Major downside is coomer bait would decrease heavily. Story would be the same quality (aka shit) and the gameplay would be a hard dice roll between decent and horrible depending on who Disney gets to direct it.

Probably not. Pokemon is already a soulless shell of a franchise that doesn't innovate. Worst case scenario is more women and minority characters plus virtue signaling in the game's plot turned up to 11.
