As for the subject, I like the idea of two Pokémon working other in battle but the execution could have been better. Maybe it's the fact that the horses basically don't have an identity outside of being Calyrex's mount? Also, while Calyrex looks much better in his rider form, the skinny legs and oversized head just look dumb.
Also, Spectrier should have been designed to be skinnier to help contrast it more with Glastrier
Personally I think Ledian did the riding concept better
