When flying over wooded areas, you can’t count individual trees, see flowers, or walking paths without some degree of difficulty.
There are absolutely better ways Gamefreak could’ve executed the overworld. No need to make it essentially a 1:1 representation of non-soaring Hoenn. Add some haze at the very least; SNES games did that.
