Have you ever gotten 100% completion in your favorite Pokémon game, if so which one?

Personally all I have left to 100% platinum is get a gold print in battle factory and catch Dialga and Palkia

All the trainer card stars and prints otherwise have been obtained

100% is always a little weird because the gen 4 games have so much little content. like how in the battle hall, if you get a total of 10,000 wins then you maximize the level of your fan base in the hall lobby.

Only other small things I can think of in Gen 4 is the Villa and maybe the Ribbons in the Resort Area/getting all the available ribbons in the game

I've always found the factory to be the easiest since it doesn't require you to breed and EV train a team beforehand.

I did Garchomp for Hall
Chomp Metagross Suicune for Arcade and Castle (you can legit skip most of the Castle)

Gengar Chomp Scizor for Tower including the 100 streak needed

The best I've done is 60 ribbons on a shiny Eevee from Pokémon XD. Aside from that, got all the pokedexes completed in Sword.

I'm slowly working through 100%ing all the Gen 3-5 games I have.
In FireRed and Emerald I can only do so much, since no link cable, XD, Colosseum, etc. But I filled the dexes as much as I could, did all the contests in Emerald, working on the Frontier.
I'm almost as close to done in Platinum as you are, just need the Factory Gold Print and a few dex entries from SoulSilver, then I'll complete SoulSilver.
Haven't started Gen V yet.

I've never completed a full national dex before (aside from Let's Go and Ranger but those are easy), so i'm trying to do that now in Gen 3. I want to get a full 100% completion too (at least in Fire Red if not all 5), but there's a lot of bullshit I have to work around to do that;

>Either have to beat Emerald 3 times or do some save file abuse to get all the johto starters
>Need to replace the batteries in my Hoenn carts so I can get Espeon and Umbreon
>Have to beat FR or LG a second time for the last roaming johto legendary (or use an event distribution rom instead)
>Would have to buy a third gameboy and three wireless adapters to get the last trainer card stamp in FR/LG (and ask some friends for help), because you have to beat the 3 player mini game to get it
>Need to do the entire Battle Frontier facility bullshit if I want to complete Emerald

I also want to make a ribbon master pokemon and i've picked a Slowbro to do it, meaning i'm already making it harder for myself if I want to do the battle frontier completion.

Sadly don't have a wii or a gamecube, otherwise i'd try it. I think to make up for it i'll permit myself to cheat slightly and use an R4 to save state before I collect the johto starters, instead of blowing a hundred quid on a second-hand Colosseum.

I've never actually completed a battle facility because they sadly mostly bore me to death, so no.
My overall goal at the moment is to fully complete all of the gen 4-6 games as much as I reasonably can, and boy am I not looking forward to doing each facility 4+ times.

I don't think pokemon games are 100%able. I feel that 100% is too arbitrary. For some people it can be maximizing the trainer card, others feel like doing more like getting shinies or finishing other things like medals in B2W2 or dream world stuff. Pokemon games have many open ended features that make them really hard to complete. Like would you consider getting all the pokedolls for Gen 3 necessary? Stuff like that.

Yeah Gen 3 is the worst it would cost so much to get all the trainer card stars, thats at least what I consider to be 100% completion even if there are other collectibles and stuff

It takes a few days max to put together a team that can beat the Battle Tower. And once you've got it, you'll always have it. You don't even need to breed, just use a Synchronize mon with the right Nature when catching it and reset for some decent IVs.

Even if you do get IVs it’s just gonna be attack and speed or your defenses whatever makes the most sense but really only speed on some very specific match ups matters cause you’ll face +speed nature 31 IV pokes in the tower
