I remember thinking this but an anon pointed out that only the IV growth rate change, not the actual personality value(so Tox doesn't change form for instance).

The stat boosts are what detirmines the fucking NATURE.
A jolly Pokemon has +Speed/-Sp.Atk
If you change it to +Sp.Atk/-Atk then you changed the nature to Modest. This is not refutable. Therefor, you changed the nature.

Nope, they added in items that only change numbers and not your pokemon's nature. This means breeding until you get the right nature is no longer necessary to get optimized stats. It also means your pokemon can't pass down its optimal nature by breeding, however.

No, the text that says what Nature a Pokémon has is what determines the Nature. If you use a mint to change a Pokémon's stats, it doesn't change anything else that's determined by Nature, like what form of Toxtricity that Toxel evolves into, and their preferences in food flavor.

Nature shouldn't exist to begin with, so i'm glad they made all the boring breeding stuff easier in this gen.
There's lots of mints dropped on the The Crown Tundra's dirt daily, so i don't need to waste time on the Battle Tower.

No, you actually don't change their nature. Like if you have an Adamant Snorlax and give it a Brave mint, it's status screen will still list it as Adamant. The mints just change how a Pokemon grows.

I legit love this shit. I still breed and soft reset when I can, but mints come through when you really need them too. I fucked up my Keldeo SR in Crown Tundra, thinking it benefited from a Jolly nature. I soon found after the fucker is a special attacker but I at least had succeeded in capturing it in a Dive Ball.
