>>46741613>i just find the way the metal skin works with its legs super hard to believe most mons with steel or rock skin at least have more defined joints so it's more believable. duraludon just has bendy metal skin. even if you argue that's what it's supposed to be it cheapens the idea of being strongly resistant to outside forceNot him, but you somehow missed the whole point of that part of it's design. It's based on Duralumin, a durable but (relatively) lightweight and flexible metal. It's legs acting like that is part of the theming, it's a strong metla that can still bend enough to be mobile, which is also reflected in its stat spread, with a unique blend of high defense but also okay speed.
Also, you SERIOUSLY can't tell me that Duraludon's anatomy is any more or less absurd than the plethora of Pokemon with heads so big they realistically shoudl snap their necks the moment they try to stand up, or the abundance of Pokemon with nub hands and feet that are somehow shown to be able to hold things or walk just fine (the absolute biggest offender being Jigglypuff, who can somehow hold stuff like microphones and markers despite having no digits). these are anime fantasy creatures, their anatomy isn't, has never been, and most importantly, doesn't need to be believable.
