>>46745951Actually, this is even more baffling to me. The solution to most of those problems I listed is to go to the box and stick the Pokemon you don't want to gain EXP in there. Now, depending on how much you fuck around with that sort of thing, the amount of menu usage would go up exponentially compared to just turning one option on/off. Like, let's say you want to specifically train one Pokemon in one thing, you'd have to put away 5 other Pokemon, which is probably close to 10 button presses, possibly more, compared to turning off EXP share in the items menu, which could be less if you put it at the top of your key items list. If it were in the Options menu instead, that could vary depending on where the option was placed, but it would still probably be single digit. Now, that might not seem like much, in comparison, but drawn out over several times this could be a problem. People don't like spending time in menus when they could be playing the game, that's just basic game design.
