I dislike XY but man, the first couple years of Gen 6 were peak. Friend Safari, PSS, GTS, Wonder Trade, battles with my friends, finding out there was a mic function for online battles, it was all so good. If SM had kept Gen 6's online functionality, that paired with the hype from GO would have been amazing. Too bad GAME FREAK is completely fucking incompetent.

There's no reason to play Gen 6 when USUM exists and is the most soulful and engaging game in the series.

Lmao no it didn't. GOnormies stuck with GO and had no reason to deviate. Let's Go got people in the main series into GO, not the other way around.
The Gen 6 games sold more than the Gen 7 games, that makes it pretty apparent.
