Kyogre gets its STAB boosted by its ability while also having more positive effects.
Palkia gets a usable signature move.
Zekrom isn’t cucked by Stealth Rock, and Kyurem-W’s movepool was better than Kyurem-B’s until Gen 8.
Yveltal and Xerneas are surprisingly balanced, although having the same exact stats, and Xerneas having arguably the best set up move in the game, but Yveltal makes up for it by having the best Knock Off and a strong U-turn.
Lunala actually had an ability that did something defensively, and so does Necrozna-DM. The only reason why their counterparts are not used is because Necrozma-DM is better than Solgaleo and Lunala is better than Necrozma-DW.
Urshifu Single Strike just has the better STAB combo despite being resisted by Fairy and has a stronger signature move, while Rapid Strikes gets walled by so many Pokemon and resisted by several offensive Pokemon as well (honestly no idea why it’s still OU)
Calyrex in it’s normal form is literally just a worse Celebi, and while Ice form is still great, it isn’t as great as the Ghost form. Sane with the respective horses too.
