Yeah a lot of those replies were without a doubt samefags, but it can't be more than 20%. There are a few pockets of discussion where people talk back and forth, as well as the screencap guy who posted like 4-5 times to keep updating, as well as people responding to the screencap about whether they made it in or not. There are even a few people who explicitly stated that they came back to the thread to quote toejamchud a second time.
So yes, while there are definitely samefags trying to force le epic maymay, it's really not as much as I expected.
